The United States obtainable Israel "incentives" geared toward encouraging Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's cupboard to extend the recently expired suspension on resolution building, Israel's U.S. envoy Michael Oren said in a meeting with the Washington Post on Wednesday.
"No memo was sent to the Prime Minister. We are not going to remark on sensitive diplomatic matters,” said Benjamin Chang, the deputy orator for the White House National Security Council.
Behind last month, a White House official denied reports that U.S. President Barack Obama had sent Netanyahu a letter proposing a set of U.S. assurances to Israel in swap for Israel extending a freeze on resolution construction.
