Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, Announced the plan to split the media giant

Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation makes an announcement about the plans to divide the $60bn media massive into two companies. Book publisher HarperCollins would join newspaper titles such as the Sun. Mr. Murdoch will be chairman of both firms. The move should ring fence News Corp's profitable film and media business from its UK newspaper business, which is involved in a phone-hacking disgrace.

According to News Corp chairman and chief executive Rupert Murdoch he was 100% dedicated to the future of equally the publishing and media and entertainment businesses The new publishing unit would include the UK newspaper titles the Sun and the Times as well as the Wall Street Journal and New York Post in the US and the Australian. At present, the film and television businesses include the film studio 20th Century Fox, Fox satellite and cable television stations, as well as its stake in BSkyB in the UK and Star in Asia.

Google: Nexus tablet made by Asus and Project Glass pre-orders

Google has unveiled the Nexus 7 - its first own-brand tablet. The device is ready by the Taiwanese industry Asus rather than the firm's own Motorola hardware unit. It runs the novel Jelly Bean version of Android. An 8GB version will be sold for $199 from mid-July plunging it directly against Amazon's Kindle Fire. The firm also showed off its internet-connected enlarged reality glasses revealing the first models would ship in 2013.

The Google Play site said the 8GB model would sell for £159 in the UK, and the 16GB version for £199. Tech players recognize that given the increasing importance of tablet campaign, they can no longer risk selling their software and services solely through other people's products. Social game maker Zynga Unveils Farmville 2 game

Zynga has unveiled a development to its most successful video game to date. Farmville 2 builds on the original real-time agricultural simulation in the addition of 3D graphics which agree to players to view the world from different directions. Researches Reveals Twisted light carries 2.5 terabits of data per second

Researchers have clocked light beams made of warped waves carrying 2.5 terabits of information the capability of more than 66 DVDs per second. The method relies on manipulating what is known as the orbital angular momentum of the waves. Angular momentum is a greasy thought while applied to light, but an analogy closer to home is the Earth itself. Current work suggests that the deception could greatly increase the data-carrying ability in Wi-Fi and optical fibers.

Orbital angular momentum has only recently come to the fore as a promising means to achieve the similar trick. Most recently in Italy Bo Thide from Swedish Institute of Space Physics and a team of colleagues established the principle via sending beams made up of two dissimilar OAM states crosswise a canal in Venice, an experiment they described in the New Journal of Physics. According to Alan Willner a number of robust tools would be wanted to manipulate OAM states and to generate and deliver beams made up of quite a few of them.

Mr. Little: Voice algorithms for Parkinson's disease

While he was studying for a PhD at Oxford University in 2003, Mr. Little became interested in understanding voice from a mathematical perception. Andy Grove, one of Intel's founders and ex-chief manager, was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2000 and has since pledged millions of his personal fortune to fund research into the disease. In a blind test of voices, the method was able to mark those with Parkinson's with an accuracy of 86%.

LeBron James: Great championship as Heat win NBA Finals

These used to be the moments that suffocated LeBron James. End of a game, the world watching, everybody expecting greatness. Microsoft: Widows Phone 8 System Updation

Microsoft has unveiled the new version of its smart phone operating system. Windows Phone 8 shares much of its code with the firm's PC system, making it easier for developers to write programs for special types of devices. The companies opinion is that should mean there would be some amazing games for handsets running its new release.

By contrast there are more than 466,500 programs in the Android marketplace according to search site Appbrain, and over 500,000 in Apple's app store according to the iPhone maker. The update also allows internet call software based on VoIP and video chat technologies to run in the background. The two will share a range of components including graphic drivers, the DirectX set of application programming interfaces and the NT kernel that ties application software to the hardware it is installed on.
