Alleged druglord Christopher "Dudus" Coke has been arrested outside the Kingston, Jamaica, police said Tuesday.
The arrest occurred of about 15 minutes outside the capital city late in the afternoon, said Commissioner Owen Ellington.
The Jamaica Observer reported that he was being held at the Spanish Town Police Station in St. Catherine after having been taken into custody while he was now accompanied by a local minister, and that he was prepared to submit to due process and to waive his right to an extradition hearing.
