Pakistan floods hit 4 million


The United Nations says up to 4 million public have now been precious by huge floods in Pakistan.
Crisis teams are trying to empty up to 500,000 people from low-lying villages in the southern provinces of Sindh and Punjab.

Awful climate has hampered rescue efforts in the north-west of Pakistan.

Other than military helicopters from the United States have joined the relief process and flown more than a few missions into the Swat Valley.

Help groups say hundreds of thousands of people have lost their homes and are in desperate need of food and clean drinking water.

Pakistani president Asif Ali Zardari has been criticized by resistance groups for continuing an official visit to Europe while Pakistan is in disaster.

Excluding the government has secured his absence and says it is doing all it can to provide help to the flood victims.
