Rory McIlroy, Northern Irishman created a final-round 67 to safe the BMW finals and his third Tour success in four outings. He completed 20 under in Indiana, two shots clear, and looked in superb form with the Ryder Cup less than three weeks away. The American, 18 under, was a stroke clear of two compatriots, Tiger Woods and Robert Garrigus.
McIlroy has previously won one of the four PGA events this year last week's Deutsche Bank Championshipand will be between the 30 together with Woods and Westwood, who will reconvene at Eastlake in Atlanta, Georgia on September 20 for the last event of the sequence. According to McIlroy, I felt like I was on my game more last week but I scrambled well the past to give myself a chance going into today.
