Nicholas Crace: Oldest living kidney donor

According to the NHS Blood and Transplant service, an 83-year-old man has become the oldest human being in the UK to contribute a kidney even as still being alive. The interesting thing is that he will never meet the recipient of his organ. He enjoys visiting friends, gardening and volunteering, made the decision to contribute last year in the months after the death of his wife.
