The Afghan president has ordered security forces to provide security of Kandahar. A cabinet minister told that Afghan President Hamid Karzai had prearranged more forces to secure the city of Kandahar after matched attacks killed more people.The Taliban declared responsibility for Saturday's attacks, the major coordinated assaults of their more than 8 year insurgency to avoid US-led plans to launch military operations in the Kandahar.
Militants have ever more mounted coordinated suicide bombings in their effort to destabilize the Western-backed govt, underscoring the security challenge facing Karzai & 121,000 US-led NATO troops.
