London -- London police said Wednesday homicide experts are investigating the murder of a Saudi national whose body was recover in a hotel. The dead body of the 32-year-old man was found Monday in a 3rd floor room of the Landmark hotel.The man, whose name was not out, had been strangled & suffered by a head injury, police said."Officers believe they know the character of the deceased, who is from Saudi Arabia, but await proper recognition before releasing his name," police told in an on paper statement. "Investigation to trace his next of kin is under way."
Police said they arrested a 33-year-old man Tuesday in relation with the death, and he kept in prison Wednesday. British media outlets quoted unknown sources as saying the arrested man was connected to the Saudi royal family, which has thousands of members. A spokesman for the Saudi Embassy in London told it had no details about the case.
