A Libyan man convict in the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, is plummeting his request, the Scottish Court Service said Friday.
The move may be part of a contract convicted bomber Abdelbeset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi is looking for with Scottish authorities to be released on sympathetic grounds.
Al Megrahi, 57, is distress from terminal prostate cancer. He is serving a life sentence for bombing Pan Am Flight 103 over the Scottish city of Lockerbie, which killed 270 people.
