The air attack followed the death on Thursday of a loyalist soldier who was injured after an attack that the military liable on members of MFDC.“On Thursday, our position in Diabir (edge of Zinguinchor) was attack by the rebel who injured two soldiers, one of them fatally,” a government soldier in Zinguinchor told AFP.
Some unmanageable elements of the MFDC were also blamed for killing two civilians in an attack on a vehicle in the region on August 25, according to local police.
