Accompanied by UNHCR officials, Jolie described the position in the camps as "one of the most dire" refugee settlements she had ever visited. She met with new arrivals mostly women and their children who fled the deterioration conflict in their war-torn homeland, Somalia.
"If this is the better key, what must it be like in Somalia?" she asked while having chat with the new comers.
Located some 90 kilometres from the border with Somalia, Dadaab Complex consisting of three camps is one of the world's oldest migrant camps, which is built to house some 90,000 people, but currently holding more than three times that number - mostly Somalis.
