Police have dropped a search into the clash between Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy and a follower who ran on to the pitch at the end of last weekend's English Premier League clash with rivals Manchester United.
The supporter was pushed in the face by Bellamy who confronted him after he staged a pitch attack at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Neither the fan nor the Wales international made a complaint to police about the fight but the supporter will appear in court later this month over the pitch infringement.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman told Press Association Sport: "We have received no complaints about this event and are currently not investigating the matter."
