Up to three Lorries strike a man

A lorry driver was killed when he was strike by up to three lorries after getting absent of his cab on the hard shoulder of the M5 close to Bristol.None of the Lorries stopped up subsequent the accident at 0700 GMT and police said it was likely the drivers were not alert of what had happened.

Two lanes were blocked southbound between junction 14 and 15. The road reopened at 1325 GMT after accident investigators had finished. A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said the deceased man was thought to be in his 40s and is not thought to be from the local region. He appealed for witnesses to make contact with them.
