An 87-year-old man has died in a crash with a logging truck close to on Monday.The man was pulling out of a driveway on State main road 1 at Reidston, 13km away from Oamaru when the accident occurred about 1pm, Dunedin Senior Sergeant Craig Brown says.
The car spun & landed on its side, trapping the man. He was freed by emergency services & he died on the way to the hospital.Brown says the logging truck was free that time. The man's name will not be released yet.
