Guard Manu Ginobili gets 28 points to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 94-73 win over the sluggish Boston Celtics on Sunday.
The Argentine carry on to give the Spurs a scoring boost in the absence of Tony Parker & also added 7 assists as San Antonio won for the 3rd time in 4 games.
Parker has missed the last 12 games with broken hand & the team has also beat fading making from All Star center Tim Duncan, who has scored more than 20 points just twice in the past month. Duncan scored 8 points in opposition to Boston.
The Spurs led 44-43 at halftime but outscored the Celtics 33-17 in the 3rd quarter, with Richard Jefferson, who shook off early on foul trouble, scoring 9 of his 16 points in the period. Boston was held to 30 second-half points & 37% shooting & positioned their lowest total of the season.
