Dutch & British police have joined together to analysis 2 old unsolved cases in which the bodies of women were recovered from canals, stuffed in bags with their heads & hands cut off, spokesperson said.
The 1st victim was Melissa Halstead, 33, from Dayton, was found in 1990 in Rotterdam's Westersingel & originally buried in a nameless grave before it was too concluded in 2008 by using latest DNA techniques. Halstead had been living in Amsterdam at the time of her slay, but previous had resided in London.
The another victim, Paula Fields, a 31year old British mother of 3, was found 11 years later in the Regent's Canal in London, so the joint investigation team was stepped up.
