Man arrested after fiancée’s body found in Freezer in pub

A pub owner has been arrested after his fiancée was exposed in the pub freezer. The body of Becky Thorpe, 29, was recovered by an employee at the Compass Inn in Snettisham, Norfolk on Tuesday lunchtime.

Police are waiting for the dead body to defrost before properly matching Miss Thorpe, who is statement not have been seen for more than 1 week. Identification is doubtful to take place until early next week.

Mike Tucker, 49, was arrested on the Isle of Wight on Tuesday night having entered at hotel & paid £30 for one night’s stay. The police called that evening & said they were seeking a man who matched the guest’s description.

Miss Thorpe’s body was found when an employee when a freezer in an away of the pub in the picturesque village on Norfolk’s west coast. "The lady was discrecovered by a police officer who had been flagged down by someone working at the pub”, says Detective Chief Inspector.
