Bones of lost California girl recovered year later

Authorities recovered Amber's skeletal remains last Saturday in a remote, rugged area of Pala, a small township in the Pala Indian Reservation, which extend more than 12,000 acres in north San Diego County, said Escondido Police Chief Jim Maher. The district medical examiner's office proved the remains were Amber's throughout dental records, he said.
