Two explosions that rocked Nigeria's southern city of Warri, one of the main cities in Nigeria’s restive oil province, during a high-level government meeting on Monday killed a man, an official said, in a toll not verified by security forces.
Some persons may have been injured by shattered glass & the investigations were under way. The blasts took place near the venue of a meeting of state governors & hundreds of other officials about an amnesty for former rebel fighters.
The armed militant team in the area, the association for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, cautioned of new attacks on the installations of oil companies, including whole.
