Fresh attack killed 12 in near Jos

John Davou a survivor of the dawn assault on Byei village in Riyom local government region of Plateau State has charged Fulani herdsmen over yesterday’s invasion of the village & the killing of 12 persons with more others were wounded. The attack is approaching closely 12 days after 100’s of women & children were murdered in a similar dawn raid on Dogon Nahawa village, in Jos South local government.

Mr. Davou, said the attackers capitalized on the heavy rainstorm of the night. They arrived unseen, as the rain did not let people to hear any foot falls.

Mr. Davou said the victim figure would have been more if not for the heavy sound of complicated gun shots which aware the villagers & that with the current experience in Dogon Nahawa, they all leaved their homes & ran for their be alive to escape the bullets & the long knives used by the attackers.
