A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 3-year-old girl, thought to be her daughter, was discover dead at a house. Police exposed the youngster's body at a belonging in Erdington, Birmingham, at 5.30pm on Saturday and a "hazardous substance" was too recovered from the address.The suspect, who is in her 20s, was in prison the same day and remains in custody, a West Midlands Police spokeswoman said. Detectives are until the results of toxicology tests after a post-mortem test failed to determine the cause of death.
The spokeswoman told: "Further toxicology & forensic tests are being carried out to see if the dangerous substance caused or contributed to the child's death."
