A 7 year old girl is in the care of family members as the look for continues around Christchurch at present for her mother, Vanessa Pickering. 27 year old Ms Pickering was last seen leaving her house in New Brighton with her daughter on Monday evening.It is thinking they were with Malcolm Chaston, also known as Maniapoto Walker, or Mana, who police situated in Cheviot the past, bringing his vehicle to a halt with road spikes. He was required on an outstanding warrant over an suspected sexual assault on the day Ms Pickering went missing, even though the incident does not relate to her.
