Brown to catch Kennedy's office

http://www.news-updations.blogspot.com/Washington -- After Scott Brown gets confirmed in Thursday afternoon, he won't just be taking Ted Kennedy's Senate place; he will also be taking more his plush office space in the Senate Russell building.

Several Senate sources tell that the Senate Rules Committee, which assigns office room, decided to give Brown Kennedy's old digs as a stuff of convenience.An aide to Senate Rules Chairman Chuck Schumer says as Brown is coming in "midstream" it would be too tough to start moving senators just about.

Sen. Paul Kirk, D-Massachusetts, moved into Kennedy's office for the similar cause. Kirk was selected after Kennedy's death to occupy the seat awaiting the winner of the January 19 special election is on oath in. Brown aides say Brown will have impermanent offices for a few days to let Kirk and his staff to move out.

Because of his superiority, Kennedy had one of the mainly coveted office suites in the Senate complex. It is situated in the Russell building, down the hall from the Rotunda, and has balconies to overlook the Capitol.
